Porcelain veneers are custom-made shells bonded to the front surface of your teeth to change their color, shape, size, or spacing. Dr. Brar designs each veneer to complement your facial features and your natural tooth shade. The result is a smile that looks like a noticeably better version of your own, not an obvious cosmetic procedure.
Dr. Brar walks you through every step before any work begins. You will know what the procedure involves, what it costs, and what your insurance covers before you commit to anything.

The Process
What to expect
Consultation and design
Dr. Brar evaluates your teeth, listens to your concerns, and explains what veneers can and cannot achieve. You see a preview of the planned result before any preparation starts.
Tooth preparation
A thin layer of enamel is removed from the front surface of each tooth to create space for the veneer. Because enamel removal is permanent, this decision is made carefully at the consultation stage.
Temporaries and lab fabrication
Temporary veneers protect your prepared teeth while the permanent porcelain shells are crafted in a dental lab over 10 to 14 days.
Bonding
The permanent veneers are checked for color, fit, and shape before being bonded with a strong dental adhesive. We adjust the bite and make any final refinements before you leave.

Common Questions
Frequently asked
Porcelain veneers typically last 10 to 15 years. Longevity depends on your home care habits, whether you grind your teeth at night, and how you use your teeth day to day. Patients who wear a night guard and avoid biting hard objects tend to get the longest lifespan from their veneers.
