A dental implant is the closest thing to a natural tooth that modern dentistry offers. Dr. Brar places a titanium post directly into the jawbone where it fuses with the bone over time. A custom porcelain crown is then attached on top, giving you a tooth that holds like a natural root, prevents bone loss, and requires no special care beyond brushing and flossing.
Dr. Brar walks you through every step before any work begins. You will know what the procedure involves, what it costs, and what your insurance covers before you commit to anything.

The Process
What to expect
Exam and 3D imaging
A cone beam scan and clinical exam confirm bone density, gum health, and the exact placement position. You receive a full written cost breakdown before anything is scheduled.
Implant placement
The titanium post is placed under local anesthetic. Nitrous oxide or oral sedation is available if you prefer additional comfort. Most placements take 45 to 90 minutes. You leave with a healing cap and clear written aftercare instructions.
Osseointegration period
Over the next 3 to 6 months the titanium fuses with your jawbone. A temporary crown keeps the site functional and normal-looking during this period. You come in for brief check-ins to confirm healing is on track.
Permanent crown placement
Once the implant is fully integrated, impressions are taken for your custom crown. It is matched precisely to your bite and the shade of your surrounding teeth, then seated and adjusted until everything feels right.
